What's that
Vertical grinder is a grinding equipment that integrates fine crushing, drying, grinding, powder selection, and conveying. It is widely used for grinding and ultra fine crushing of various solid materials in industries such as cement, building materials, power, metallurgy, chemical, non-metallic minerals, etc.
Working principle

The electric motor drives the grinding disc to rotate through a vertical reducer, and solid raw materials enter the center of the grinding disc from the feeding port through the air locking feeding device. Under the action of the centrifugal force field, they are thrown towards the periphery of the grinding disc and repeatedly crushed by the grinding rollers. The crushed material overflows from the edge of the grinding disc, and the powdered material is carried up by the high-speed airflow rising from the lower part of the machine. When the rising airflow and powdered material pass through the powder selector in the upper part of the mill, the coarse powder is separated and falls into the center of the grinding disc for re grinding under the action of the rapidly rotating rotor. The fine powder is then ground out of the upper part of the mill with the airflow and collected in the dust collection device, which is the product. The particulate materials that have not been carried away by the airflow overflow the grinding disc and are returned to the feed inlet of the mill through the external circulation bucket elevator, and enter the mill together with the newly fed raw materials for re grinding. For materials with high moisture content, hot air is introduced into the mill. Wet materials are fully exposed to the hot air flow during grinding, powder selection, and flow, and are dried to meet the product moisture requirements.
